Long Time No Post

Hello folks, been a long time since I've posted anything.

Over the past several months the New Orleans office of Advocacy Center (where I work) has left it's post Katrina home in the CBD and purchased a new headquarters at 8325 Oak Street.

I believe we are the first P&A in the nation to own our own building.

I'll miss my 26th floor window view of the Superdome (see below)
 but Oak Street is thriving with lots of great shops and restaurants at our doorstep.

We also closed down our Shreveport office and set up the employees there to work permanently from home.

While the new building was being renovated (several months) the entire New Orleans staff worked from home. A total validation of our complete move to the cloud which happened post Katrina.

On top of all of the above work my wife and I decided to rip out the carpet in our bedroom and install new floors in our bedroom and install built in wood shelving in the bedroom closet (I'll put up pics in another post.)

In short it's been crazy busy.

But I am not giving up on my attempt at keeping up a blog. More to come.
