Welcome to groundcontrol, the blog that examines “SAAS, PAAS and Cloud Computing from the ground up". By ground up I mean from the perspective of someone who has already made the to the cloud and is now has to deal with the reality of making it happen.

I’ll touch on industry trends but there are already excellent places on the web for that. What there isn’t, is a lot of is places for those of us who have already made the transition to an off-premise IT infrastructure.

Hopefully groundcontrol will become such a place.

I hope to both share my experiences and perspective and to meet and learn from others.
